The old Valo Motion site was outdated, hard to navigate, and hurting conversions. It lacked a clear contact funnel and failed to showcase products effectively. We rebuilt the site from structure to visuals, creating a modern, high-performing platform that made discovery and engagement simple.

Research

I used Google Analytics and Hotjar to analyze behavior and identify gaps. Recordings showed confusing flows, and surveys with the team revealed a need for stronger outcomes. This research guided the redesign, highlighting opportunities to improve navigation, trust, and lead generation.

Insights

Customers wanted a clear product lineup without confusion around specs or sizes. Contact and scheduling tools were missing, making conversion difficult. The dated design, broken theme, and lack of ownership damaged trust. The site wasn’t acting as the 24/7 sales partner it needed to be.

Design decisions

I moved us from WordPress to Webflow for flexibility and scalability. This gave non-technical staff easy editing access, and allowed us to add animations, structure, and user flows with intent. Navigation was simplified, product offerings clarified, and the foundation was rebuilt for growth.

Testing

We ran unmoderated tests to gather feedback. Customers could now easily explore products, book calls, and connect with the team. After a month of refinement, we launched the new site at a major U.S. trade show, where it was very well received by partners and prospects.

Solutions

Reflections
